The OCA represents the interests of 4,500 people and their families who live and work in the 625,000 square kilometres of Outback South Australia. The logo we designed combines our state floral emblem with the people of the area the OCA represents.
As a nod to the wonderful Winnie the Pooh, a hand drawn illustration has been created of a child being uplifted by a balloon. The logo was designed to appeal to both children and parents.
A common tool for designers when creating a new logo is to draw on the first letters of a company name. In this instance we utilised the braille representation of these two letters. We our proud that the branding guidelines which was specifically created for visually impaired clients, has now been implemented nationally across the sector.
A refresh of the Electoral Commission of SA was long overdue. West Creative created a unique typeface for ECSA, with a little twist of the letter 'A' creating a graphic representation of the ballot box.
